Phase 1
You own your land outright
This program is designed for people who own property but have been unable to build a home through a traditional construction loan. We have created a process with trusted partners that enables you to utilize several grant assistance programs and a traditional mortgage.
Phase 2
You meet with an Experts in Your Home Project Manager
We will assess your property for building variables and conditions as well as present our predesigned floorplans to you. We have 1BR, 2BR and 3BR floorplans to choose from. Once you select a floorplan, we will provide you a rough estimate for construction based on your choice along with site condition considerations.
Phase 3
Get Pre-Qualified with Tri-Counties Bank
Tri-Counties is a great provider that is working closely with Experts and the Paradise Dept. of Housing on this program so you are making a great choice. You’ll need to provide basic information including your finances, what you want to build, your income, expenses, employment history and credit score.
Phase 4
Get Qualified with the Paradise Dept. of Housing Assistance
Some customers may qualify for the Town’s First Time Home Buyers program. This is an excellent resource that can lower your monthly mortgage and help cover downpayment requirements. You’ll need to attend an informational class as part of the program requirements.
Phase 5
Build that home with Experts in Your Home
Once you are prequalified, we will help you make a final selection on a floorplan and finishes based on your budget. Our experienced professionals are committed to providing you with a quality home. We understand you are entrusting us with your land and we take that responsibility seriously. We will treat your land with respect and adhere to all local regulations.
Phase 6
Welcome Home!
The final step of the process is the sale of your new home back to you. All the variables of this sale are predetermined before we break ground so you exactly what you are getting and at what price.
